About

Since 2008 I’ve worked in large agencies supporting well loved brands, a successful startup and led a design team in a B2B agency. I currently freelance as a design and UX consultant while searching for a full time design role.

My background in design and performance based marketing has given me a unique understanding of the problems faced by businesses as well as the benefits of a user-centered experience.

I’m proud to contribute to solutions that empower users to solve real problems while helping businesses grow. I’m equally fascinated by the ‘why’, the details and the big picture.

Prior to my design career, I worked in offset printing and screen printing shops as a production artist. I began learning HTML and CSS independently after completing my Associates’ Degree in Visual Communication. I am scheduled to complete the CAL Arts UI/UX Design Specialization program in April of 2024.

My skillset includes UX/UI Design, Front End Development, Branding, Creative Direction and Marketing; my areas of expertise is Visual Design and Design Thinking.

Outside of design I enjoy playing music, record shopping, cycling, and growing vegetables in my yard. I live with my partner and 4 cats in Oakland, CA.
